We Like to Party

Pipsi has this new thing where she plays with plastic bags.  She finds them around the house (either in the office, or the one that I have brought downstairs to clean the litter box with).  She picks it up and runs away with it.  She looks ridiculous.  This morning, as I'm sitting here blogging, she just grabbed one out of the garbage can, but couldn't see where she was going on her escape and ran right into the wall.  I shouldn't laugh.  But I can't help it.

So now, on to the weekend recap.  I did clean the bathroom, have three workouts and studied (only for a little bit on Friday night, but it's better than nothing).  I also had some downtime to finish my book (Room by Emma Donaghue - Read it!) and watch some TV that I was behind on from the week.  And of course I went to a wedding and a baby shower.  So it was a successful and busy weekend.

First up, some pictures from the wedding we attended.  It was the wedding of one of Ryan's guy friends, so the whole group was there of course. 

The reception was at a golf course and the hall was really beautiful.  The groom's parents are florists, hence the massive centrepieces!

Should I be concerned?

I wanted a picture of the two of us.  You can't actually tell we are at a wedding since we are in front of a wall, but oh well.

You know what would be fun? Dancing around the photographer!

 I had borrowed a flash for my camera from my brother in law and I fell in love!  I was actually able to take pictures in the hall!  Even if I was driving everyone crazy with the flash.  I was really impressed with how they turned out.

Now onto the shower.  Our friends Adam and Megs are having a little boy in just over a month.  So on Sunday we celebrated the expectant mommy.  My sister and I bought her a Bumbo, those cool little seat things for babies.

How cute are baby clothes!

She got some great gifts and we can't wait to meet the little feller!
